Job summary

Four Winds Casino New Buffalo is seeking an On-site Helpdesk Technician to provide initial IT support by phone or email and escalate as needed. You will install software, manage access rights, and help ensure smooth casino operations while liaising with users and vendors.

The role requires a technical degree in computer science or related area and 1–2 years of experience, plus strong communication and computer-literate skills. A Level 2 Gaming License may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in computer science or related area.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess effective communication skills and be computer-literate with programming and usage skills.
• Level 2 Gaming License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installs selected software, maintaining proper security levels and access rights.
• Ensures the quality of systems operations by communicating with all levels of users and offering direction.
• Coordinates work flow to ensure effective overall operations in IT.
• Attends departmental meetings to facilitate information flow.
• Maintains a maximum level of service and satisfaction for all users.
• Keeps knowledge of Word, Excel, email and Microsoft tools to perform effectively.
• Contacts vendors regarding software, hardware or phone issues as needed.
