Job summary
The Oceanac in Atlantic City is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patrons, staff, and assets across casino and hotel environments. You will monitor posts, respond to incidents, and assist guests while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
The role requires strong English communication, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior casino security or law enforcement experience desirable.
- Must communicate effectively in English.
- Must hold a valid New Jersey driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Patrol posts in the hotel, casino resort and outside areas to deter and prevent illegal activities and violations.
- Assist guests with illnesses, injuries, and information.
- Issue temporary access badges as needed.
- Protect company assets and monitor obligations to company policies.
- Observe employee activities to enforce rules and regulations across the casino hotel complex.
- Respond to disturbances with calming verbal exchange and be prepared for physical confrontation if necessary.
