Terre Haute Casino Resort is seeking a Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team in Terre Haute. This full-time position requires availability to work evenings and weekends.

The Welcome Desk Agent will check guests in, issue room keys, manage reservations, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism. The role includes balancing cash, coordinating with housekeeping, and providing high-quality customer service in a dynamic casino-hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Candidate must be experienced in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to hotel guests.
• Verifies guest identification and establishes payment method.
• Issues room keys and relays instructions to guests.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts on computer.
• Computes bills and collects payments.
• Makes and confirms reservations.
• Answers PBX calls and routes calls to proper extension.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment and any other activity connected with the hotel, casino or entertainment complex.
• Advises housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
• Coordinates with player services and housekeeping on amenities and room assignments of hosted guests.
