Job summary

Delaware North Gaming in Wheeling, West Virginia, is seeking full-time Hosts to join our Wheeling Island Casino team. You will warmly welcome guests and manage the host station to help create exceptional guest experiences.

This tipped position offers weekly pay, training and development opportunities, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. You’ll work with a friendly team to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts.
• Seat guests and maintain control of wait times.
• Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving.
• Answer the restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operation.
