Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and gaming regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and solve problems.
• Effective communication with various stakeholders, including staff, management, and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to supervise and motivate accounting staff.
• Experience with accounting software and other relevant technologies.
• Attention to detail in all financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Experience in the Gaming Industry is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily casino accounting functions, month-end closing, and balance sheet reviews.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and tax returns for management and regulators.
• Ensuring adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and gaming regulations (including Title 31 and BSA).
• Monitoring cash flow and proper handling of casino funds.
• Conducting revenue audits, analyzing data, and recommending improvements.
• Responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Supervising accounting staff and fostering a positive work environment.
• Participating in annual budgeting and financial planning.
• Collaborating with gaming, operations, and compliance to ensure accuracy.
