Sycuan Casino Resort is seeking an experienced Casino Financial Controller to oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department and manage budgeting, compliance, and internal controls at the Sycuan Resort in El Cajon, California.

This role leads staff across accounting, payroll, AR/AP, and financial reporting, ensures GAAP compliance, and partners with VP Finance to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 8 years’ progressively responsible experience in Accounting.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• Tribal gaming experience.

Mansioni

• Directs Casino and Golf Resort Financial operations by overseeing general accounting, revenue audits, and payroll activities.
• Ensures all financial statements and reports are prepared in a timely manner per GAAP.
• Communicates with Internal and External auditors to maintain relationships.
• Reviews month-end closing activities including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Enhances and implements financial and accounting systems and processes for efficiency.
• Leads Finance Department Management team and supports staff development.
