Job summary

Latruckstopgaming in Bossier City, LA, is seeking a Field Assistant for Casino Operations to cover for the manager during vacations or sick leave. You will help ensure smooth casino operations, manage communications, coordinate compliance checks, and assist with facilities maintenance.

The role requires 40+ hours per week and up to 90% travel. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of building professional relationships with managers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Familiarity with casino operations and processes is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact and handle matters in the absence of the direct manager as directed
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with managers throughout locations to support the achievement of the location’s goals
• Assist managers in controlling overtime and managing work shifts
• Contribute to the organization and execution of parties and events
• Handle collection processes proficiently in a casino setting
• Obtain required certifications, including guard and cashier certification, Responsible Vendor and ABO certification, among others
• Provide onsite training to new managers, cashiers, guards, and collectors
• Assist with surveillance activities, compliance checks, incident report inquiries, and theft investigations
• Support managers in facilities maintenance, including the utilization of facilities maintenance systems, creating, and responding to work orders and communication, and researching and submitting purchase orders as directed
• Conduct compliance checks, credential checks, site evaluation issues, blue book checks, and monitor uniform requirements
• Assist with supply delivery from office/vendors as needed
• Other task assigned by manager
• Position will require 90% travel
