Job summary

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to support general upkeep of our facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to ensure smooth operations and safety for guests and staff.

The role involves carpentry tasks, locksmith duties, and assisting with event setups. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, able to follow directions, and have some experience with cleaning equipment and basic tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools safely.
• Knowledge of chemical composition, structure, properties, handling, disposal.
• Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools and basic maintenance.
• General knowledge of cleaning/maintenance requirements in hospitality.
• Knowledgeable of basic hand and power tool operation.
• 3–6 months of related experience.
• Certified Pool Operator (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventative maintenance on the property.
• Carpentry: frame walls, hang drywall, build shelves, lay carpet, paint.
• Locksmith tasks: repair locks, door handles, closures; install door equipment.
• Respond to building-related safety concerns related to maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities inside and outside: sweep, trash, wash daily.
• Assemble/move furniture or office equipment and assist event setup.
• Follow safety protocol and notify supervisor of problems or emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
