Qualifications

• Experience in two or more of the listed maintenance skills: insulating, welding, machine and equipment repairing, carpentry and electrical work.
• Experience planning and laying out repairs; repairing electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle and reassemble defective machines and equipment.
• Install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Install wiring/electrical and electronic components.
• Install machinery and equipment.
• Repair plumbing as needed.
• Paint and repair woodwork and plaster.
• Fabricate and repair counters, partitions, and wooden structures.
• Record repairs made and costs.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
