Job summary

Wind Creek is seeking an EVS Attendant I to maintain a clean and sanitized gaming complex, including machines, bathrooms and offices. The role emphasizes consistent cleaning quality following established procedures and safety guidelines in a casino environment.

You will be responsible for cleaning duties across front and back of house areas, operating appropriate cleaning equipment, and reporting concerns to the EVS Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; if enrolled, complete GED within 6 months.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 25 lbs backpack vacuum for up to 2 hours.
• Able to push/pull 5–60 lbs to assigned areas.
• Walk or stand for the full shift.
• Pass interview including guest service audition.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work with solvents and cleaning chemicals.
• Able to climb a ladder for overhead work.
• Tolerate dust, second-hand smoke, bright lights and loud noises.
• Dexterity and gross motor skills; frequent bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching.
• Willing to travel and participate in training.
• Work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must have an Occupational License per Florida Statutes and be in good standing with the Florida Gaming Control Commission.
• Willing to work in smoke environments, holidays, weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the gaming complex clean and sanitized.
• Vacuums, mops, sweeps, dusts, cleans wood, glass, pictures, doors, tables, chairs, slot machines, carpets, and any surface.
• Cleans floors in public and employee areas.
• Maintains and cleans equipment; uses equipment properly.
• Shampoos and extracts carpets per schedule.
• Informs EVS Manager of needed supplies or maintenance concerns.
• Reports unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor/Manager.
• Adheres to all operating policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
