Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality in Illinois is seeking an EVS Attendant I to maintain a pristine gaming complex, including floors, machines, bathrooms and offices. You will follow established cleaning procedures to ensure top sanitation and guest satisfaction.

The role requires lifting ability, standing for long shifts, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or enrolled and complete GED within 6 months from start date.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift and maneuver a backpack vacuum weighing 25 pounds for up to 2 hours.
• Able to push/pull or maneuver 5–60 pounds to assigned areas.
• Walk or stand for 100% of assigned shift.
• Must pass job interview, including a guest service audition.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work with solvents and cleaning chemicals.
• Able to climb a ladder to perform overhead work.
• Tolerate areas with dust, smoke, bright lights and loud noises.
• Able to bend, pull, push, reach above shoulders and occasionally crawl.
• Willing to travel for training.
• Able to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must have IL Gaming Act license or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Keeps gaming complex clean and sanitized.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, clean wood, glass, doors, tables, chairs, slot machines, carpets and surfaces.
• Clean floors in public and employee areas, front and back of casino.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment properly.
• Shampoo and extract carpets per schedule.
• Inform EVS Manager of cleaning supplies or maintenance needs.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor/manager.
• Follow all operating policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by EVS Manager or supervisor.
