Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking an Electrician to perform new electrical installations and repairs across the Casino and related facilities. Responsibilities include wiring, panel and transformer work, and maintenance of emergency power generators.

A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to NEC standards is required. Qualified candidates will have a New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License (EE98J) and at least five years of relevant experience, with the ability to read blueprints and operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years related experience.
• Must possess NM Journeyman Electrician License (EE98J).
• Read and interpret NEC-based electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and repair electrical machinery; replace defective parts.
• Install and maintain electrical systems including panels, breakers, circuits, motors, lighting, transformers.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motor control centers, and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Casino emergency power generators.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Enter work activity into asset management system; maintain inventory.
