Job summary

Downstream Casino is seeking a courteous, detail-oriented Busperson/Food Runner to support dining room service in a fast-paced casino environment. You will set and clear tables, assist servers with beverages and courses, and keep dining areas clean and well-stocked.

The role requires professional presentation and excellent guest interaction skills. We value knowledge of menu items, service standards, and the ability to multitask across stations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
1–2 years prior bussing or food runner experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
Present a neat and professional appearance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to multitask on multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Set and reset tables before and after shifts.
Maintain tables during service and clear dishes between courses.
Assist food servers with water, soup, and bread service.
Promote casino events and programs when possible.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Move and arrange tables to accommodate reservations.
