Chumash Casino Resort is seeking a Drop and Count Specialist to handle currency from all gaming operations. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in counting, and adherence to internal controls.

Responsibilities include removing drop boxes and cassettes, preparing currency for count, and using casino software for transfers. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule and obtain a Tribal Gaming License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in hospitality or gaming environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• Basic 10-key and office equipment skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft applications, e-mail and internet.

Responsibilities

• Follow internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Manage drop boxes, slot bill acceptors, cassettes and cash dispensers.
• Prepare currency for count machines and ensure accurate asset assignment.
• Count money using counting machines and document counts.
• Operate casino software for fund transfers between count room, kiosk room and Cage/Vault areas.
• Maintain count room and equipment and keep it clean.
