Job summary

Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel is seeking Drop/Count Team Members to exchange cash boxes, count currency and tickets, and reconcile daily totals. The role involves performing machine drops and count functions, maintaining equipment, and supporting Revenue Audit and Cage operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain the tribal gaming license. A strong team attitude, accuracy, and basic math skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Coeur d'Alene tribal gaming license.
• Must be able to work well in teams.

• Good customer service skills both internal and external are required.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Ability to precisely follow directions is a must.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience operating cash counting and verification machines preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must have a positive and productive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Exchange full cash boxes for empty boxes and count currency and tickets.
• Verify cash dropped and issued for machines and complete monthly settlements.
• Maintain and track equipment for cash handling and ensure inventory.
• Drop and secure cash boxes on casino floor and verify box identification.
• Transport boxes to count room and perform nightly drops per policy.
• Prepare cash summaries for Revenue Audit and reconcile variances.
• Ensure transfer of currency to vault and document paperwork.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as designated.
