Job summary

Gold Rush Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented Count Room Clerk to join our Finance / Operations team. The role focuses on counting, reconciling, and safeguarding currency from VGTs and other sources, with strict adherence to internal controls and gaming regulations.

This position will work Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 8 hours each day. You will operate cash-counting machines, maintain detailed records, and cooperate with audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling cash in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain gaming licenses.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and reconcile currency from VGTs and other revenue sources.
• Maintain detailed records of all count room transactions.
• Operate cash-counting machines and ensure proper handling of equipment.
• Verify accuracy of physical cash against system-generated reports.
• Safeguard all assets and ensure secure handling and transportation of currency.
• Ensure all procedures follow company policies, state regulations, and compliance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the count room.
• Report discrepancies or suspected fraud to management.
• Support audits and assist with internal/regulatory reviews.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
