Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Cage Shift Manager to oversee cage operations, protect assets, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations. Responsibilities include handling monetary transactions, supervising Players Services staff, and promoting the Boyd Rewards program.

Ideal candidates will have Cage/Credit experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to pass background checks while maintaining up to 50 lb weights.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 2 years Cage/Credit experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must obtain/maintain TAM card and pass background check.
• Must be able to bend, push and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve Player Services customers by cashing checks, exchanging gaming chips for currency, cashing checks, and processing markers.
• Maintain balance and safeguard Player Services assets during assigned shift.
• Monitor and verify all cash intake.
• Monitor transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.
• Input, update, and access customer credit and other information via computer.
• Coordinate duties of Players Services personnel; instruct in proper performance.
• Report and research any variance.
• Explain and promote Boyd Rewards Loyalty Program; assist with events and promotions.
• Handle guest recovery as required.
• Perform daily player tracking system audits.
