Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of bartending and cash handling experience preferred.
• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Knowledgeable of state liquor laws.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Know bar terminology and its application to service.
• Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• Basic knowledge of all bar equipment and its functions including POS system.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with guests and team members.
• Strong organization, prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Highly adaptable to change in a positive manner.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and POS operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take drink/food orders.
• Prepare and serve drinks per standard recipes.
• Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine/beer.
• Ring orders, collect payment, and make change.
• Complete supply requisitions.
• Arrange bottles and glasses for displays.
• Stock bar supplies and keep stations clean and stocked.
• Follow safety rules and department policies.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
