Job summary

Tioga Downs in Nichols, NY is hiring a Full-Time Barback to support bartenders and maintain beverage venues in a busy casino environment.

You will stock supplies, assist during peak periods, ensure guest satisfaction, and collaborate with the team to deliver smooth operations.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, prior hospitality experience, strong work ethic and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hospitality, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain beverage and quick-service venues to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Stock, replenish, and transport food and beverage supplies to assigned venues.
• Complete all required interdepartmental transfer paperwork when moving products between venues.
• Remove empty bottles, glassware, and trash from bar areas.
• Prepare and replenish fruit and other garnishes for beverage service.
• Receive, issue, and maintain accurate records of liquor inventory and supplies.
• Provide support to bartenders as needed during busy periods.
• Maintain knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartender responsibilities and rights.
• Deliver outstanding guest service at all times.
• Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, utilities, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operations.
