Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a Casino Barback in Saint Louis, MO. The role supports bartenders, sets up bars, and maintains a clean, safe work area while delivering fast, friendly service to guests.

You must be 21+, with liquor knowledge and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Certification in ServSafe Alcohol and a gaming license are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Familiarity with liquor, beer, and wine.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain ServSafe Alcohol certification and a gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Sets up bars for operation; stocks supplies; maintains cleanliness.
• Supports bartenders by icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas per health and safety standards.
• Maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary; delivers orders.
• Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.

As a Casino Barback you will:

Pay: $9.00 per hour plus tips (Tip Avg. $100- $200 per shift) | Shift:10:45 am - 7:15 pm

*tip averages are based per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Sets up bars for operation; cuts fruit; stocks ice; empties garbage.
• Supports bartender needs; ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
• Maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary; delivers orders.
• Maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures; reports any maintenance problems to manager.
• Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and service stations in accordance with departmental procedures; sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
• Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiarity and product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification. (ServSafe Alcohol)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
