Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a capable Representative, Casino Accounting to manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for revenue departments across the property. You will adapt quickly to changes and assist with special projects, while complying with laws, regulations and Resorts World policies.

The role requires performing daily audits, reconciling documents, posting journal entries, and maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Maintains polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Generate and complete daily audits of the cage, slots, table games and other gaming departments.
Communicate problems or discrepancies to management promptly.
Retain accurate records and files pertaining to work performed by self and team.
Reconcile revenue and expense reports to source documents and file financial documents.
Prepare routine journal entries and post financial transactions.
Ensure Nevada Gaming Control Board compliance for all areas of responsibility.
Create summary reports and complete daily audits; prepare batches for processing.
Verify invoices for payment and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
