Velocity Vehicle Group in Whittier, CA is seeking a Service Cashier to ensure a superior customer experience and accurate billing. You will handle customer payments for repairs and maintain clear, friendly communication to support lasting relationships and company culture.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with hourly pay of $18–$19 depending on experience. VVG offers competitive benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and more.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers immediately in a courteous manner.
• Treats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates company’s commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.
• Provides updates to customers.
• Collects payment from customers.
• Reviews and processes all repair orders.
• Assists Service Advisors with phone calls.
• Ensures all repairs orders were performed and billed correctly.
• Notifies customers to advise truck is ready for pick up.
• Prints invoices.
• Updates customer files.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers.

Job Summary:

The Service Cashier will ensure a superior customer experience is delivered consistently and reliably to develop everlasting customer relationships and organizational success. The Service Cashier will ensure the accuracy of billing and customer updates to guarantee customer satisfaction and promote company culture – Speed, Value, Trust

VVG is looking for a Cashier to join our team in Whittier, CA for following hours: Monday-Friday between 8:00am-4:30pm!

Essential Functions And Purpose

The Cashier receives payments from customers who are paying for repairs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Cashiering experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Greets customers immediately in a courteous manner
• Treats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates company’s commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
• Provides updates to customers
• Collects payment from customers
• Reviews and processes all repair orders
• Assists Service Advisors with phone calls
• Ensures all repairs orders were performed and billed correctly
• Ensures proper sign out procedure is followed
• Notifies customers to advise truck is ready for pick up
• Prints invoices
• Provides backup to reconcile credit card charges
• Files repair orders
• Updates customer files
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Compensation

• Hourly $18- $19 based on experience and qualifications.
• Full Time position

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and background check
