Job summary

Duchess is seeking a friendly cashier to join the team as a Full-Time or Part-Time swing shift member. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

No prior retail experience is required, though basic math, cash handling, and comfort with technology are helpful. We offer flexible scheduling, 24/7 locations where applicable, and strong benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
