Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Less than 1 year experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year retail cashier experience or equivalent. Ability to obtain sales licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Answer customer and employee questions promptly and guide them through projects.
• Communicate stock, special order merchandise, features, benefits, and warranty information.
• Operate cash register for sales, returns, refunds, and provide correct change.
• Process customer orders, print tickets, verify receipts, and load tickets.
• Lookup product information and verify price match when needed.
