Job summary

GPM Investments, operator of fas mart stores, is seeking a friendly Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 302 in Newington. You will greet customers, run the register, and help ensure a clean, safe store environment.

You will handle lottery and age-restricted sales with compliance, upsell where possible, and support store operations across shifts. Prior retail experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet in all weather conditions.
• Strong reading/writing/speaking English skills.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Provide friendly service and upsell when possible to boost sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness indoors and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise neat and full.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed to support store operations.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
