Responsibilities include mastering lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with proper age verification, upselling to boost sales, stocking product displays, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and flexible.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register accurately and quickly.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification and legal compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales where appropriate.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside (restrooms, pumps, trash, lot).
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh.
• Maintain clean entryways, windows, and floors.
• Cross-train in other departments (e.g., deli) as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist where needed.
