GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for Fas Mart in Glade Spring, VA. The role involves running the register, keeping the store tidy, assisting customers, and handling age-restricted sales with proper verification.

You will work across shifts, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining cleanliness, stocking products, and cross-training in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly demeanor and customer-focused.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Flexible and able to multitask.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside.
• Deep cleaning high-use restrooms.
• Wipe down and sanitize gas pumps (nozzles, screens, water buckets).
• Pick up litter from floor and lot area.
• Take out trash to dumpster in all kinds of weather.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized store: sweep, mop, windows, entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments including deli.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
