Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate who will greet customers, operate the register, and help keep the store clean and safe in all weather conditions.

The role includes learning lottery, tobacco, and alcohol purchases while following age-verification rules and safety policies. You should be willing to cross-train in deli and other departments and to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep the store inside and outside clean and safe, including restrooms and pump area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including sweeping, mopping, windows, and entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
