Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring part-time Sales Associates at our Admiral-brand stores in Marquette, MI. You will greet customers, run the register, and ensure a clean, safe store environment while handling duties across departments as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales per regulations, maintaining restrooms and pumps, stocking shelves, and upselling to boost sales. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods; indoor/outdoor in all weather.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, reliable demeanor and customer focus.
• Detail-oriented with good observation.
• Punctual, responsible and a team player.
• Flexible and willing to cross-train in other departments.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol in compliance with age verification and laws.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including bathrooms and pump area.
• Stock shelves, coolers and displays; ensure merchandise looks fresh.
• Maintain clean entryways, windows, and floors.
• Cross-train in deli or other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
