GPM Investments in Springfield, MA is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 621. This Pride-branded location offers USD 16.00–18.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time opportunities. The role includes greeting customers, register duties, and helping keep the store clean and safe.

You will gain experience in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with compliance, assist stocking, and upsell when possible. Shifts include evenings, afternoons, and overnights.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• English communication (read, write, speak) clearly.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Friendly demeanor and customer-service mindset.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper age verification.
• Upsell customers to increase sales where appropriate.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and out, including restrooms, parking lot, and pump area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing.
• Keep entryways clean and store organized; sweep and mop as needed.
• Be willing to cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
