Cashiers greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all related paperwork. Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking and visual displays.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's Mission, Vision, and Values
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Understand CBC policies and cashiering transactions (cash, check, non-taxable sales, credit cards, voids, exchanges)
• Enter all sales and cash accurately at the register
• Assist with stocking and store organization
• Promote add-on sales and store specials
• Arrive promptly, groomed, and in appropriate attire
• Stay security conscious
• Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries about sales, promotions, and store information
• Stay updated on sales and promotions
• Practice inventory control, especially for boots
• Follow company policies on commission sales
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs)
