Waters Hardware- Garnett seeks friendly cashiers to operate a checkout counter, assist customers, and answer questions about merchandise. You will be the first friendly face customers meet, helping ensure an outstanding shopping experience aligned with company values.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean front end, handling transactions, and promoting loyalty programs. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.

• Able to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

• Able to lift and handle products as needed for cashier duties.

Responsabilités

• Create inviting front-end environment and maintain cleanliness.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries.
• Answer questions about merchandise and location in store.
• Answer phones and transfer to correct department.
• Maintain efficient checkout process and traffic flow.
• Know store policies including returns, refunds, payments, deliveries.
• Promote loyalty programs and promotions.
• Identify theft and follow store policy actions.
• Operate POS and process cash, card, or house accounts.
• Maintain displays around checkout and stock as needed.
• Open/close cash till procedures.
• Assist other store staff as needed.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Adhere to store policies and safety standards.
