Universal Health Services is seeking a dynamic Cashiering Specialist for the Atlantic Region CBO. The role focuses on daily processing of lockbox, over-the-counter, and bulk remittance receipts, posting cash, and day-end processing.

You will support posting payments, balancing, and resolving unapplied cash issues. Responsibilities include posting payments and adjustments, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate daily totals.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and 10-key data entry.
• Familiarity with insurance collections and 1-3 years healthcare office experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years cash posting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and adjustments daily.
• Balance end of day for individual work.
• Research and correct unapplied cash issues.
• Research and correct other Cashiering Specialist transactions as needed.
• Match tape and post balances to daily totals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Atlantic Region CBO: The Atlantic Region Central Billing Office ("ARCBO") or ("CBO") provides business office services including billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance, and customer service to our affiliated Universal Health Services hospitals.

The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and Cashiering Specialist.

The Cashiering Specialist is responsible to complete daily processing of the lockbox and over the counter and bulk remittance advance receipts. Posts all cash and completes day end processing.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Complete the posting of payments and adjustments daily.
• Complete end of day balancing for individual work.
• Research and correct issues associated with unapplied cash.
• Research and correct other Cashiering Specialist transactions as necessary.
• Match tape and post balances to daily totals.
• Other duties as assigned.
