Job summary

Levy, a unit of Compass Group USA, is hiring a cashier for Snow Summit in California to greet guests, input orders, and handle payments with precision and courtesy.

You will manage POS transactions, answer questions, and ensure accurate pricing while maintaining a clean, welcoming workspace and upholding guest satisfaction throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• This role requires cash handling experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential for accuracy.
• Familiarity with electronic devices such as cash registers and POS.
• Adaptability to changing conditions and guest needs.
• Customer service orientation is a must.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Manage transactions with customer using POS systems
• Input all items being purchased accurately and ensure pricing is correct
• Understanding and know all price points at your venue
• Resolve customer complaints. Must be able to guide guests and provide a relevant solution to an issue
• Redeem employee meal tickets and group meal vouchers properly
• Monitor and maintain the MasGen systems
• Assist Supervisors with monthly inventory count at your venue
• POS problem solving
• Cash balancing/handling is a requirement
• Ensure the venue is always Show Ready (Lights on, music on, fully cleaned, tvs turned on, fireplaces lit, etc.)

Job Summary

Starting at $20/hour

We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The cashier will input guest food and beverage selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to guests regarding products carried, promotions available, or other location menu items. You will also respond to complaints and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list. The items below are primary duties. Any and all other duties assigned by leadership are expected to be completed as requested.
