Job summary

Levy, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a cashier role at one of our venues. You will handle sales transactions, process POS entries, issue receipts, and support refunds while delivering friendly service to guests.

Additionally, you will help maintain sanitation and inventory controls, assist with standard procedures, and participate in a team focused on hospitality and guest satisfaction across our food service operations.

Qualifications

• Cashiering experience or willingness to perform cashier duties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and payment control procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.

Summary:
