Overview

Are you ready to make a positive impact during the afternoons and evenings? Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically between 2 PM and Midnight) play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and smoothly operating store for every customer.

We seek dependable, hardworking team members who are available during these hours and take pride in essential tasks such as cleaning restrooms, trash pickup, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness. If you're comfortable getting your hands a little dirty and enjoy helping others, this might be the right role for you.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age verification and legal standards
• Provide friendly service and upsell when appropriate to boost sales
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including:
• Deep cleaning restrooms
• Sanitizing gas pumps
• Picking up litter
• Taking out trash in all weather conditions
• Stock shelves and coolers to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Cross-train in other departments like the deli as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and step into various roles as needed

Qualifications

• Age: 18+ in some states; 21+ in others
• Availability: Must work weekends and holidays, primarily between 2 PM and Midnight
• Physical stamina to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, flexible, and responsible
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
