Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift

Join us as a Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift at GPM Investments, LLC.

Are you ready to make an impact during afternoon and evening hours? Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically between 2 PM and Midnight) are vital in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and smoothly operating store for every customer.

We seek dependable, hardworking team members available during these hours who take pride in essential tasks like cleaning restrooms, picking up outside trash, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness. If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy helping others, this might be the perfect fit!

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Provide friendly service and upsell to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash removal, and litter pickup
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized by sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and maintaining entryways
• Cross-train in other departments, such as deli, as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and step into other roles when necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Age: 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, primarily afternoons to evenings (2 PM - Midnight)
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Reliable, responsible, personable, and positive attitude
• Willing to work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required
