Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Be prepared to stay on your feet for long periods and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Friendliness and a positive demeanor to make customers feel welcome.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a flexible mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification and legal compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when appropriate to boost sales.
• Keep store interior and exterior clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh, appealing merchandise.
• Maintain a tidy store and entryways; sweep, mop, and clean windows.
• Cross-train in other departments, such as deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
