Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a Retail Cashier at Charlton Memorial Hospital. You will perform cashier duties in the Food & Nutrition department, set up stations, and ensure proper dating, labeling, and rotation of items while maintaining clean and sanitized work areas.

The role requires adherence to food safety procedures, and vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or an approved exemption. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

• Position reports to the Manager, Food & Nutrition Services or designee. Provide support for the Retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including Cashier Duties set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures. Ensure items are dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and/or placed for sale.

We are searching for a talented Cashier - Retail

Hours: 10hrs

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 2:45pm - 8:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures. Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale. Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $16.47 - USD $23.41 /Hr.
