Job summary

Kalispell Toyota is expanding into a brand-new facility in Kalispell and seeks a Cashier/Receptionist with excellent customer service. You will handle calls, assist the Rental Coordinator, and perform basic accounting tasks in accounts receivable and payable.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and card payments and record in the system.
• Make change, issue receipts and balance cash drawer as needed.
• Answer phones and direct customers to proper departments.
• Handle complaints diplomatically and escalate when appropriate.
• Operate the switchboard; maintain a friendly, efficient demeanor.
• Assist managers with clerical duties and internal procedures.
• Support TRAC rental program scheduling and contracts.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cashier/Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This individual will receive calls into the dealership, assist the Rental Coordinator, Scanning and other clerical duties. This position will also be responsible for basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions in both accounts receivable and accounts payable. (We will train).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
• TRAC (Toyota Rental Program). Scheduling and executing rental contracts, pick-ups and drop-offs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• This position hours are 9:00AM-6:00PM (Hour lunch) and days are Mon-Wed and Fri-Sat. Off on Thursday and Sunday.
• Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel

• Clean driving record
