Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Illinois is seeking a Cashier Receptionist at Napleton Valley Hyundai to ensure smooth transactions and a positive customer experience. The role involves handling payments, issuing receipts, and balancing totals at shift end.

Responsibilities include processing cash, checks and cards, resolving customer questions, and maintaining a professional appearance. We offer paid training, employee discounts, and growth opportunities; some weekends/holidays required.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance and eligibility to work 18+.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate staff for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
