Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group in Aurora, IL is seeking a Cashier Receptionist to support front desk operations and process customer payments. The role requires accurate cash handling, friendly customer service, and strong attention to detail. You will issue receipts, balance totals, and assist with inquiries in a fast-paced dealer environment.

Paid training and employee discounts are offered. Applicants must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience preferred, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Record totals of tickets and deposits and verify payments at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
