Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and help drive our mission.

You will support change rounds, assist in training new team members, maintain a clean sales floor, and enjoy benefits including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with employer match, and employee discounts. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• As a Cashier, greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Invite customers to participate in Change Round Up to support our mission.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return unsold merchandise to the floor.

POSITION OUTLINE
