Job description

Job Summary:
Town Center Nissan is seeking a friendly and customer-driven afternoon/evening Cashier to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient and accurate transactions for our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with an individual contributor role.

The hours are Tuesday through Friday 1:30 to 7 and Saturday 7-2.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Cashier position at Town Center Nissan offers a competitive hourly rate of $14 to $15 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process payments for sales and service transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions
- Manage customer inquiries and issues related to payments
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving any customer complaints or concerns
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cashier experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately
- Knowledge of basic accounting and math
- Proficient in using computer software and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
