Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a detail-oriented office/cashier associate to manage money flow and customer transactions. You’ll assist customers, locate products, and support price verifications while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced store setting.

You will handle Western Union, money orders, refunds and deposits, balance drawers, and ensure compliance with AML, AML and other regulations. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, 401(k), discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of cash register.
• Basic mathematical and counting skills.
• Basic knowledge of tender policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Processes requests for money orders, lottery, refunds, and other office transactions.
• Prepares deposits and maintains store financial records and logs.
• Balances drawers and reports discrepancies to management.
• Answers calls and assists cashiers with office tasks.
• Ensures compliance with applicable tender policies and laws.
