Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Texas is hiring for a Store Office/Cashier role to assist customers, process transactions, and handle office tasks in the front of the store. You will help customers locate products, verify prices, and provide efficient checkout services in a busy retail setting.

You will also handle Western Union requests, deposits, and drawers balancing while adhering to tender policies and safety procedures. Growth opportunities and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 21+ to drive per policy.
• AML certification required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for Western Union, money orders, lottery tickets, and refunds.
• Prepare cash/check deposits and maintain accurate store financial records.
• Balance cash drawers and monitor tender policies and procedures.
• Assist cashiers and answer incoming calls; maintain office supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all laws regarding sales of restricted items.
• Provide friendly customer service and maintain a clean, safe environment.
