Milk & Honey, a New Orleans themed Southern Brunch destination, is seeking a friendly Cashier in Washington, DC. You will greet guests, process orders, handle payments, and answer questions about the menu and policies.

The role requires you to stand for long periods, manage fast-paced service, and collaborate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure a welcoming dining experience. Our team values hospitality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service is essential. Cashiers should have strong interpersonal skills, be friendly, patient, and able to effectively communicate with customers.
• Cashiers need to be accurate when processing transactions, handling cash, and recording sales. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid mistakes.
• Familiarity with using cash registers or point‑of‑sale (POS) systems is important. This includes knowing how to count money, provide correct change, and operate relevant equipment.
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
• Able to work within a fast‑paced, highly mobile environment.
