Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time cashier for Los Angeles Equestrian Center to handle cash and inventory accounting during events. The role requires a California Food Handler's Card and basic cash handling skills, with hours varying by show, including weekends.

Greet guests, deliver orders, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures as part of our Food & Beverage team. This position offers a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• California Food Handler's Card
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures
• Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly
• Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation
• Must have ability to follow directions
• Hours of Work vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and maintain great customer service
• Organize and deliver orders to guests
• Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned concession stand
• Performs location worker assignments
• Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
• Plans for daily sales flow based on projections
• Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Concession Manager
• Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities: physical inventory stand sheet, meal sheet and spoilage reports, cash slips
• Verifies the proper item prices to the menu
• Monitors the proper recording of employees’ meals and meal vouchers, if applicable
• Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times
• Performs location worked duties as assigned
• Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Summary

Los Angeles Equestrian Center has an excellent and immediate opening for cashier. This position is responsible for the overall accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory.
