Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the Los Angeles Equestrian Center property. The role involves operating floorcare equipment, cleaning windows, floors, walls, and restrooms, with adherence to policies and procedures.

This position requires physical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as part of the Operations team, with weekend and holiday shifts possible. An Equal Opportunity Employer; VE-VRAA contractor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform custodial duties with appropriate tools and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, push, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
• Work both indoors and outdoors under varying environmental conditions.
• Maintain clean facilities and follow departmental policies.
• Know and use custodial tools, supplies, and methods.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously under a schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Present a professional appearance and follow uniform policy.
• Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

The Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC) is a one-of-a-kind, 75-acre property nestled in the heart of Griffith Park, dedicated to the love of horses and the equestrian community. Job Summary

It is the primary responsibility of the custodian to maintain the cleanliness & upkeep of the internal & external Los Angeles Equestrian Center property. To Include but not limited to, operating floorcare equipment, windows/glass, floors, walls, indoor and outdoor restrooms. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
• Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing, and kneeling.
• Work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas.
• Requires attention to detail, good organizational skills and must be friendly and courteous.
• Knowledge of tools, supplies, and methods used in custodial work.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Must have the ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Works effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results.
• Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, with the ability to work in cooperation with others.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, able to always follow uniform policy.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
