Job Title: Cashier / Host

Our franchise organization, Metro Corral Partners, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest’s experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Cashier / Host’s interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

Responsibilities

1. Guest Service:

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as they leave.
• Assist guests who may need help.
• Process GC On the Go To-Go orders.
• Be friendly and courteous on the phone.
• Handle payments accurately.
• Know and follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
• Know the buffet offerings for the day, including menu and prices.

Cleanliness:

• Maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas.
• Assist in setting up the buffet properly and ensuring labels are correct.
• Clean all buffets and surrounding areas.
• Follow local health department laws.
• Perform duties to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.

Operational Excellence:

• Inform the Manager when money in the drawer needs to be deposited to reduce the risk of theft.
• Ensure the cash drawer balances with daily paperwork.
